Marigold is our resident hot girl, and she knows it. Surrendered to us from a backyard farm, where the humans initially wanted to sell her for her “premium milking lines.” We reached out to them and asked if they would surrender her to sanctuary, to which they initially responded no. A week or two later, we received a call from them saying they had changed their minds and would like her to go to sanctuary as they didn’t like the thought of her being hooked up to a milking machine. Since coming to sanctuary, Marigold has developed a close bond with Finnan. We think they are dating as we will often find them snuggling and grooming each other. She has also embraced auntie life to the fullest, and throughout Ginger’s pregnancy she often groomed Ginger, and immediately took a strong liking to Georgie when he was born. Marigold loves her herd mates and we are so happy to provide her with a loving, happy home where she will be free from exploitation.
