Ginger is our resident hot momma, arriving at the sanctuary pregnant with her sweet son, Georgie. She’s embraced life at the sanctuary and is now one of the most attentive and loving mothers, always keeping a watchful eye on Georgie (unless he’s being naughty and sneaking into pastures he shouldn’t!). Ginger has a special talent for knowing exactly when pumpkins are perfectly ripe, and last fall, she amazed us all by patiently waiting for some pumpkins in the pasture to reach their peak before enjoying a delicious snack. She loves nothing more than snuggling with her herd mates, especially Georgie, and showing her maternal affection through constant grooming. Ginger’s nurturing spirit and love for her family truly make her one of a kind.
