Sweet Sheba is our female black angus resident. Rescued at just about one year old from a beef farm, Sheba has always had an adventurous yet extremely gentle and kind personality. She and her friend Fern went through a rebellious and adventurous phase, where they would escape our pasture and head up to our neighbor’s farm to eat from their giant hay pile. We would go out and do a headcount, only to realize two were missing and we would immediately find them with their big booties sticking out of the huge hay mound at the neighbor’s. Now a couple years later, Sheba has mellowed out and no longer escapes. She has, however, retained her gentle and sweet personality. She loves to snuggle and be brushed and groomed. She doesn’t discriminate – she will accept loving from her fellow cows, her humans, or her boyfriend Wilbur. We love our sweet Sheba girl.
